I am a native of New Jersey and currently live in Windsor Mill, MD with my daughter Jayden. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, running, playing with my daughter and participate in various fundraisers and charities in and around my community. I look forward to meeting you and helping to create your new OX smile :0 ) Marcus Hello, my name is Marcus and I am the New Patient Coordinator at the practice of Drs. Hickory & Selnick. I have been with the office for a better part of a year. The practice is fun, vibrant and has a constant buzz about it. However, the best and most important part about working for the practice is that the doctors are genuine in all that they do for their patients. The work that Dr. Hickory, Dr. Selnick and our staff accomplish is immeasurable in countless aspects for our patients quality of life other than the obvious one of straight teeth. Originally an army brat from Germany, I currently make my home on the Waverly Woods Golf course. When not at the practice I compete at, and instruct professionally the game of golf. I have been a PGA golf professional for the past fifteen years. I have local ties as the golf professional at Cross Creek Golf Club, Hobbits Glen Golf Club and The Suburban Golf Club. Hello, my name is Shalisse, and I’m the Administrative Director for Drs. Hickory and Selnick. I’ve been with the office since 2002, and enjoy the time the doctors spend with our patients explaining treatment and making sure they understand what their treatment entails. I also love that our patients, grow up right before our eyes, and I also love the feeling of making our patients happy with their beautiful smile. My patients are great because they are so excited to start treatment and cannot wait to show off their new colors.
Hello, my name is Terry, and I am an Orthodontic Technician. I’ve been with Drs. Hickory and Selnick since 2005. I am a native of Carroll County Maryland and currently live in Westminster, Maryland. I am a career Firefighter with Howard County Fire and Rescue and have been for 2 years now. Currently I am assigned to Station 9, Long Reach. 
Hello, my name is Danielle, and I'm the Patient Relations Coordinator for Drs. Hickory and Selnick. I've been with OrthodontiX since 2002 and enjoy working in a progressive environment. I also love working for such kind and talented doctors. My patients are great because every person in our office has a story to tell. Having individual treatment rooms give us a great opportunity to connect with our patients. As we begin traveling down the road of OrthodontiX together, our patients become a part of our extended family, a connection that has been lost in similar service oriented environments.

Hello, my name is Mira and I am the Clinical Coordinator for Drs. Hickory and Selnick. I’ve been with the OX team since 2008 and enjoy being on the cutting edge of orthodontics with knowledgeable, caring and extraordinary skilled co-workers and doctors. I also enjoy working with such a wonderfully diverse patient base. Melissa Hi, my name is Melissa and I'm an Orthodontic Technician with Drs. Hickory & Selnick. I've been working in this office since March 2010 but I have been in the dental field since January 2000. I like working with the doctors because they are upbeat and easy going. I live in Carroll County. I have a sister that has given me the cutest niece, a brother which also gave me a cute very nephew. When I'm not working I spend time with family and friends. I enjoy going to the beach or any where warm.
Alison Hello, my name is Alison and I'm the Human Resources Director for Drs. Hickory & Selnick. I've been with the OX team since 2009 and enjoy working closely with each staff member as well as our amazing doctors. Each staff member really brings something unique to our practice. I live in Clarksville, Maryland with my husband, Steve and my amazing daughters, Morgan and Carley, who make me smile everyday! I also have a Golden Doodle named Molly who brings so much love to our family. In my free time, I love being a mom and spending time with my family and friends.

Hello, my name is Shelly and I'm the Accounts Payable and Financial Assistant. I've been with Drs. Hickory and Selnick since November 2010. The best thing about working with the doctors is their willingness to embrace the newest and most up to date technology for their patients and their office. I live in a little town called Reisterstown and I am the proud mother of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. 2 of my children are currently in treatment with the doctors. In my free time, I love to read- I just got a Nook and I love it! I also enjoy gardening and baking with my daughters and playing Wii with my boys- I am master of Wii Resort!

I graduated from Salisbury University with a BA in communications and a minor in psychology. While in school, I played on the women's rugby team. During my free time, I enjoy being outdoors when it's warm and spending time with friends. I look forward to getting to know our patients and learning more about orthodontics.

Previously, my career was spent as an executive for a men's clothing chain. I currently reside with my wonderful wife in Pikesville, MD. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. Any left over time I use working out and playing golf. I look forward to becoming a part of your rewarding experience at OXsmiles.

I am originally from Georgia but have lived all throughout the south. I reside in Montgomery County and have lived there with my husband, David and Cocker Spaniel, Bell for 7 years now. In December 2010, I was blessed with the arrival of my first child, Julianna. In my spare time, I love to play with my daughter, enjoy time with family and all sorts of crafts. |
